AriZona Manufacturing Facility Locates to Woodbridge

Mayor John E. McCormac welcomed the arrival of AriZona Beverage Production, Manufacturing & Bottling Facility at the Federal Business Center located in the Keasbey Industrial Zone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce the operational start-up of their new manufacturing and distribution center.  AriZona Beverage, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of iced-tea beverage products, has completed construction of their new state-of-the-art 621,000 SF production and bottling facility on a 37-acre parcel at the Keasbey Redevelopment Zone.  Located on AriZona Way off Mac Lane, the production facility is located in close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike and the Central New Jersey Transportation network, Newark Liberty International Airport, the Port Newark/Elizabeth Marine Terminal and East Coast rail network(s).  When construction is complete, an abandoned rail spur will be reactivated to serve the facility.  The AriZona Beverage production and bottling facility features 45 dock positions, a 20,640 SF maintenance garage, solar energy systems, and is outfitted with a guard shack reminiscent of the Alamo.


Veterans Day Parade Steps-Off on Sunday

The 13th Annual Woodbridge Township Veteran’s Day Parade steps-off from Ross Street School at 1:30 PM on Sunday (Nov. 10) and marches down Main Street to Town Hall.  Welcome and salute Township Veterans and active-duty military personnel from all branches of service as they proudly march in celebration of Veterans Day.  Join members of our Veterans organizations:  American Legion Post #87; American Legion T. Nulty Post #471; American Legion Post #248; The Cpl. Kevin J. Reinhard  Marine Corps League Detachment #189; VFW Woodbridge Memorial Post #4410; VFW Hopelawn Memorial Post #1352;  VFW Colonia Memorial Post #6061; VFW Avenel Memorial Post #7164; VFW Iselin Memorial Post #2636; VFW Fords Memorial Post #6090; DAV Chapter #56; Woodbridge public service and emergency response units, scouting, youth, civic and historic organizations; Woodbridge, Colonia and JFK High School marching bands and parade dignitaries.  Honor and support our hometown heroes.  See you at the parade!!!

The Avenel Performing Arts Center (APAC) - the region’s newest performing arts center offering top-name theatre, stage productions and special performances – is welcoming theatre-goers with the very best entertainment venue in Central Jersey.  The APAC is a multi-disciplinary performing arts center located in Avenel (Woodbridge Township). Managed by the Woodbridge Arts Alliance (WAA), the APAC promises to energize Avenel and surrounding communities by programming exceptional, professional theatre, music, comedy, dance and more.  The APAC features seating for 200 patrons, a separate performance room and pre-function lobby area that opens to exterior space for larger gatherings and events.  APAC also features Curtains Restaurant – a stand-alone dining destination available for catered pre-performance and special events.

“Strut” Your “Stuff” at the Colonia Turkey Trot on Sat., Nov. 16

The annual Colonia “Turkey Trot” struts down Inman Avenue in Colonia on Sat., Nov. 16.  The “Trot” assembles in the Oak Ridge Heights School #21 parking lot at 11:15 AM and leaves promptly at 11:30 AM enroute to the Evergreen Center for the “Turkey Festival.”  Enjoy crafts, vendors, refreshments, live entertainment and more!!!

It’s All Happening at The Club

The Club at Woodbridge is now part of the Woodbridge Township Recreation Family – and we’re offering an incredible menu of health, wellness, fitness and entertainment programs, events and happenings to members and guests!!!  The Club is the perfect complement to the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) right across Main Street.  Both facilities have a pool, running track, cardio rooms, weight rooms, concession areas and child care functions. Both run summer camps for kids and personal training and other amenities.
