The Avenel Performing Arts Center (APAC) - the region’s newest performing arts center specially designed for theatre, stage productions and special performances - rolled-out the Red Carpet and welcomed theatre-goers with a Grand Opening Reception.  The APAC features seating for 200 patrons, a separate performance room and pre-function lobby area that opens to exterior space for larger gatherings and events.  APAC also features Curtains Restaurant – a stand-alone dining destination available for catered pre-performance and special events.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Woodbridge is on the run... for pizza! The Mayor's Wellness Campaign, The Club at Woodbridge and Wegmans sponsor the annual Woodbridge Run for Pizza on Wed., July 10. Sign-up today for the 4-mile run thru Alvin P. Williams Park and the Sewaren waterfront.  Celebrate at the finish line with pizza provided by local restaurants. Prizes awarded to the top three overall female and male runners and the top three male and female runners in each age group.  Pre-registration: $25.00 ($20.00 USATF-NJ members).  Race Day Registration: $30.00.  Corporate and Team Entries welcome! Run for Pizza is a USATF New Jersey 500 Point Event.  Proceeds benefit the Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports.  See you at the finish line!
