AVENEL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The Avenel Performing Arts Center (APAC) rolled-out the Red Carpet and welcomed theatre-goers with a Grand Opening VIP reception. The APAC - the region’s newest performing arts center specially designed for theatre, stage productions and special performances – features seating for 200 patrons, a separate performance room and pre-function lobby area that opens to exterior space for larger gatherings and events. APAC also features Curtains Restaurant – a stand-alone dining destination available for catered pre-performance and special events.

Music on Main Presents: POCO LIVE

The popular Music on Main Street concert series returns on Sunday (April 28) with POCO LIVE: Celebrating 50 Years. Music on Main Street - presented by Mayor John E. Woodbridge Community Choir Spring Concert Performs on May 3

The Woodbridge Community Choir presents its first concert of the season with a rousing Spring concert on Fri., May 3... April is Youth Month!!!

Plan to meet the Woodbridge Township leaders of tomorrow as Mayor John E. McCormac and the Municipal Council present the annual Mayor’s Youth Volunteer Awards on Sunday (April 28) at the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC). This year, 50 Woodbridge Township young adults will receive the 2019 Mayor’s Youth Volunteer Award for distinguished community service - volunteer service includes church and community, peer tutors, athletic coaches, hospital aides, clothing and food drive coordinators, first aid and fire squad members, serving and assisting area homeless, and many more initiatives.

Celebrate Senior Month with Special Events & Programs

May is Senior Month in Woodbridge Township!!! This year, we’re jam-packed with informative, educational, recreational and entertainment activities specially geared to our Senior residents. Senior Month encourages Senior residents to engage in health and fitness activities, attend informative programs and seminars, participate in mind-stimulating activities such as Rummikub and Sudoku competitions, art and music classes, entertainment events, senior receptions and community engagements. The Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services, the Multi-Service Program on Aging & Senior Services, the Department of Recreation & Resident Services, the Woodbridge Police Department, the Department of Public Works, the Evergreen and Sycamore Senior Centers, the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC), the Woodbridge Township Public Library and our many senior organizations and associations participate and sponsor the many free programs and events, educational and informational sessions. It’s All Happening at The Club

The Club at Woodbridge is now part of the Woodbridge Township Recreation Family – and we’re offering an incredible menu of health, wellness, fitness and entertainment programs, events and happenings to members and guests!!!

The Club is the perfect complement to the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) right across Main Street. Both facilities have a pool, running track, cardio rooms, weight rooms, concession areas and child care functions. Both run summer camps for kids and personal training and other amenities. The Club has racquetball and badminton, while the WCC has a hockey rink, roller rink, mini-golf course and batting cages.
