Woodbridge Community Players Presents: An Evening with Russell Fischer

Russell Fischer

The Woodbridge Community Players (WCP) – our very own summer stock theatre group of local actors and actresses – presents a very special fundraising event:  An Evening With Russell Fischer – Star of Broadway’s Jersey Boys!!!  Join Russell on Sat., June 3, 2017 for an intimate evening as he sings a very special collection of his favorite music from Show Tunes to Pop/Rock & Soul.  The Theatre at Woodbridge Middle School (525 Barron Ave.)  7:30 PM.  Tickets: Adults: $10.00.  Senior & Student: $8.00.  Tickets available at: www.wcypnj.booktix.com.  Proceeds benefit the Woodbridge Community Players and the upcoming July production of West Side Story.  Stay tuned to the WB News or WCP Facebook at: www.facebook.com/wcyp.inc or www.WoodbridgeCommunityPlayers.org for information on West Side Story performance dates and tickets.

WCP Needs Patrons:  The work of the WCP does not end with the final curtain call for “West Side Story” in July!!!  What many theatre-goers may not realize is how costly a stage production can be - just the rights to a play or Broadway musical show can run more than $5,000 - add to that, costs for lighting, sound, scenery, costumes and props, and you’ll understand why the WCP needs your help to produce shows the entire community can be proud of.  That’s why we’re asking Township residents to support the Woodbridge Community Players by signing on as a Patron.  To support the WCP and to learn how you can be a “Patron of the WCP” go to: www.WoodbridgeCommunityPlayers.org.
