One of the greatest risks within the senior population, both physically and financially, relates to a fall event. This guide provides an understanding of the implications of and associated risks for falls in the older adult population. It includes an interactive presentation with tips on how to create and implement a fall prevention program. In addition, the program incorporates handouts with demonstration of exercises which promote strength, endurance, balance and flexibility, all necessary to promote safety in the older adult population. Vinny Smith is a health education presenter of Braven Health, a combined company of Horizon BCBS, Hackensack Medicare, and Robert Wood Johnson.
