We have lots of exciting activities planned for winter readers of all ages! From January 1 to February 28, 2025, we invite everyone to take part in our Winter Reading Challenges and win prizes. Here's a look at the fun we have in store:
Family Winter Reading Challenge
Kick off your winter reading with our Family Winter Reading Challenge! Visit the Children’s Room and grab your game board today. Track your progress by completing reading tasks, and once you return your completed game board after March 1, 2025, you’ll receive a special goodie bag to celebrate your achievement.
Book-Tok-Toe [TEENS]
Who doesn’t love a good game of tic-tac-toe? Our Book-Tok-Toe challenge is a fun twist on the classic game. Fill in each square with the title of the corresponding book you read. Complete a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to win exciting prizes like mini slime, Croc charms, and mochi squishies. If you finish the entire board and read nine books, you’ll be entered into a drawing for the grand prize, which includes a large plushie, a matcha set, and more!
Book Bingo [ADULTS]
Adults can join in the fun too with our revamped Adult Book Bingo! From January 1 to February 28, 2025, complete bingo squares by reading books, attending library programs, or listing books you’re excited to read. There are 8 ways to complete a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), and each completed row wins a Winter Book Bingo prize pack with a book tracker bookmark, tea, chocolate, and more. Plus, every completed row gives you another entry into the Grand Prize drawing. The Grand Prize includes a book lover's candle, a WPL travel mug, and more!
