ALBORADA SPANISH DANCE THEATRE’S "THE HISTORY OF SPANIARDS IN NJ" A FREE LECTURE DEMONSTRATION AT THE BARRON ARTS CENTER 582 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 7:30pm Go back in time and explore the journeys of the people of Galicia, Spain to New Jersey since the early-1900's with the widely acclaimed Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre in their unique and fascinating lecture demonstration. You will be educated as why Galicians came to NJ, how they have impacted their NJ communities, and how they keep their cultural traditions alive today in our state. Accompanying demonstrations of regional dance movements and musical instruments by Alborada and Centro Orensano artists wearing traditional costumes will bring their cultural traditions to life.
